What is My Life About Anyway
This young lady growing up in Oklahoma knew at an early age she wanted to cut hair. As an adult living in South Florida, she cuts hair. It’s not a job, it’s her calling.
At 14 a young teen had a desire to get involved with computers. He eventually retired from a computer programming career of well over twenty years. He was called to his line of work.
How many people have just known what they wanted to do in life, and then pursued it. It was just natural for them to follow what was in their heart to do. But yet there are many who never latch onto a path to follow. Life seems to be aimless, pointless. Just something to endure.
You have a choice. You decide whether you have purpose or not. There is nobody else that can make that choice for you. You have to make up your mind. Your life can count. That is exactly what God did too. He made a choice. He devised a plan. All the details were pre-established. Then He made the heavens and the earth.
His plan was and still is Redemption. Everything in life revolves around that one basic plan. All that God does in the earth, from Adam to the end of the world, implements the details of that plan. Everything was made with purpose. So what is my life all about? It is about working out the details of God’s Plan of Redemption in my life. I have purpose.
And my place in life brings honor and glory to God. I can have a dream. I can pursue a goal in life. He will put it in my heart. I can live out His purpose and plan for my life.
