What Jesus Wants You to Know

Sometimes a person can be distracted all his life with goals and desires outside of God. You need to remember that in all of life’s busyness, there are a few spiritual things that Jesus wants you to know.

1) God loves you. So much so that Jesus said,

But even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:14-17, MKJV)

How many people would send their own child to die so someone else could live? Also, Paul wrote, "the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (Romans 5:5b, KJV). God continues to share His love with you through the Holy Spirit. God loves you just that much.

2) God cares about your spiritual condition. God wants you to grow daily and mature in spiritual things. Paul, an apostle and matured Christian, wrote,

My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for what is ahead. I run toward the goal, so that I can win the prize of being called to heaven. This is the prize that God offers because of what Christ Jesus has done. All of us who are mature should think in this same way. And if any of you think differently, God will make it clear to you. (Philippians 3:13-15 CEV)

He wrote elsewhere,

In a large house some dishes are made of gold or silver, while others are made of wood or clay. Some of these are special, and others are not. That's also how it is with people. The ones who stop doing evil and make themselves pure will become special. Their lives will be holy and pleasing to their Master, and they will be able to do all kinds of good deeds. (2 Timothy 2:20-21 CEV)

3) Jesus is coming back soon. Jesus said,

This gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come. (Matt. 24:14).

The gospel has reached into every nation on Earth—in some cases as an outlawed religion. Again the Lord said,

Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch is still tender and puts out leaves, you know that summer is near. So you, likewise, when you see all these things, shall know that it is near, at the doors. Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled. (Matt. 24:32-34, MKJV).

That is, when you see all of the signs happening, Jesus is getting ready to come back.

Always remember, no matter what: Jesus loves you, He cares about your soul, and He is coming back for His own real soon!
